Revolution Enduro Snowmass 2021

As we wake up to the crisp morning air suggesting fall is near, riders gear up for a race weekend that will test all their skills. Two full days of pushing their limits on seven stages and trying to be the fastest one down the mountain. Their faces may look serious but the high fives thrown around and energy in the air reveal how excited these riders are just to be out here with one another racing these fine trails at Snowmass bike park.

The sun is shining in the classic bluebird Colorado sky and will continue to give us a beautiful weekend of racing weather. The lifts start spinning, courses are taped, timers are in place, and the focus intensifies. The first bell dings and the start to seven long arm pumping stages begins.

The race consisted of seven long, rough, rocky, and rooty stages with a lot of challenging features and two transfer to the fast and rowdy Bonzai Downhill trail and Sam’s Knob. At the finish of day one there were a fair share of dusty and tired rider but their faces showed relief and exhilaration from a wild day of adrenalin rushing stages. A quick nights rest and right back at it for another full day of racing. Sunday’s three stages were no joke. A mix of flow and technical terrain kept riders on their toes. The heat made for a tough transfer over to Sam’s Knob but the excitement felt at the finish line confirmed just how much fun was had. After two long days of pushing the limits it was time to relax with friends, eat great food and enjoy this wonderful community that comes together for these events.

As the riders took their places on the podium and sprayed the goods around everyone involved watched on with a smile on their face. Something about the joy mountain biking can give and the community it creates was highlighted in this moment.

The Rev crew did an amazing job making this event run as smooth as it did. The dedication these guys bring to the table is impressive. They ask for nothing but a place to stay and trails to race on. We also appreciate Snowmass for hosting the event here and can’t wait to do it again next year.
